Architectural Grille Featured Throughout House Beautiful's Fourth Annual Whole Home 2021 in Fredericksburg, TX

ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE’s custom HVAC grilles and decorative metalwork feature prominently throughout House Beautiful’s fourth annual Whole Home situated in picturesque Fredericksburg, TX - an emerging design and culinary destination known for bustling shops, boutique hotels and growing viticultural region. The rolling hills set the perfect all-American backdrop as House Beautiful celebrates its 125th anniversary.

The 3,600 square foot home situated on 10 acres will be built in the Hidden Springs subdivision of Fredericksburg, with House Beautiful and Agave Custom Homes hosting a ceremonial groundbreaking on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. The Whole Home will be featured in the October/November 125th Anniversary Issue of House Beautiful and on HouseBeautiful.com, on newsstands September 28.

"Each year, we seek out an American town to build a home full of smart ideas, clever solutions, and the newest products for home from our partners,” said Carisha Swanson, Market Director, House Beautiful. “This year, each of our eight design teams will create spaces full of great takeaways that our audience can execute right now in their own homes. This will be a house that makes you rethink every nook and cranny of your own home, large or small, to make sure you're getting the most out of it.”

Eight acclaimed interior designers featured in House Beautiful's 2021 Next Wave design team: Jean Liu Design, Studio Munroe (Emilie Munroe), Toledo Geller Designs (Virginia Toledo and Jessica Geller), French & French Interiors (Heather French and Matt French), Laura Hodges Studio, Mikel Welch, LH Designer (Linda Hayslett) and Sabbe Interior Design, will each provide their design expertise to this classic farmhouse showcasing 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, open gathering areas and a large, covered veranda overlooking a sparkling pool with panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country.

“In the past year, evolving homeowner demands for truly multi-functional spaces at home has caused a surge in the design and housing industries” said Jennifer Levene Bruno, VP, Group Publishing Director/Chief Revenue Officer, House Beautiful. “As House Beautiful celebrates its 125th anniversary, now is the perfect time to reflect on these changing needs as we build a forward-thinking showcase full of real-life design ideas, with the latest products from our brand partners.”

As a Whole Home sponsor, ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE’s role was to help make each designer’s vision a reality by partnering on custom metalwork, from HVAC grilles and custom shelving solutions to cabinetry components and decorative touches throughout each room.

"This is our fourth time partnering with House Beautiful on the Whole Home project and what an honor it was to once again work with such a talented and inspirational design and build team,” says Stephen J. Giumenta, ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE, Co-Owner & Design Engineer. “Given the continued challenges we’ve faced this year, it feels especially meaningful to come together as a design community and create something beautiful and sustainable.”

ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE contributed custom metalwork to several rooms in the home, including The Workshop, The Flex Space, The Owners' Retreat, the Hideout, The Party Plaza and The Tasting Room, as well as custom HVAC grilles throughout the house. Particularly unique metalwork touches include the custom doggie door leading into a combined laundry/dog wash area as well as other custom perforated infill panels for the media closet, office storage drawers and outdoor kitchen cabinets.

This is the fourth year in a row that House Beautiful has created a Whole Home, and it’s the fourth collaboration between ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE and House Beautiful to ensure that even the smallest details of the house are thoughtfully and skillfully executed.

Along with ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE and presenting partner Signature Kitchen Suite, the 2021 Whole Home is made possible by Caesarstone, Circa Lighting, Elkay, Grothouse, Phillip Jeffries, Stearns & Foster and Trane. New partners include: Acme Brick, Arhaus, Fabricut, Farrow & Ball, Schlage, Tencel and The Rug Company.

The full reveal of the 2021 House Beautiful Whole Home is featured in the October/November issue of House Beautiful, and consumer tours begin on October 2, 2021. Proceeds of each tour will benefit Hill Country Community Needs Council, which is committed to promoting the common good and general welfare of the community by providing an organizational structure for meeting human needs.
