Cleaning Instructions

There are a number of different cleaning options that you can use on your Grille, depending on the type of Finish and Material.

Aluminum Grilles

Satin: Rub the grille lightly with a Scotch-Brite pad in the same direction as the metal "grains" until finish is restored. You can also use a soft cloth with a cleaner such as Windex, or simply use a damp cloth.

Mirror Polish: Polish the grille with Noxon (special polish), or alternatively you can also use Windex or a damp cloth.
Powder Coat: Use ONLY a damp cloth, absolutely NO cleaners.
Anodized Colors: Use ONLY a damp cloth, absolutely NO cleaners.

Stainless Steel grilles

Satin: Rub the grille lightly with a Scotch-Brite pad in the same direction as the metal "grains" until finish is restored. You can also use a soft cloth with a cleaner such as Windex, or simply use a damp cloth.

Mirror Polish: Polish the grille with Noxon (special polish), or alternatively you can also use Windex or a damp cloth.

Brass Grilles

Satin (No Lacquer): Rub the grille lightly with a Scotch-Brite pad in the same direction as the metal "grains" until finish is restored.

Satin (with Lacquer): Damp cloth ONLY. NOTE: Using anything other than a damp cloth will ruin the lacquer.

Mirror Polish (No Lacquer): You can use Noxon (special polish) to regain the mirror finish.

Mirror Polish (with Lacquer): Damp cloth ONLY. NOTE: Using anything other than a damp cloth will ruin the lacquer.

Statuary Finish: Damp cloth ONLY. NOTE: Any finish without lacquer will tarnish over time.

Bronze Grilles

Satin (No Lacquer): Rub the grille lightly with a Scotch-Brite pad in the same direction as the Metal "grains" until finish is restored.

Satin (with Lacquer): Damp cloth ONLY. NOTE: Using anything other than a damp cloth will ruin the lacquer.

Mirror Polish (NO Lacquer): You can use Noxon (special polish) to regain the mirror finish.

Mirror Polish (with Lacquer): Damp cloth ONLY. NOTE: Using anything other than a damp cloth will ruin the lacquer.

Statuary Finish: Damp cloth ONLY. NOTE: Any finish without lacquer will tarnish over time.

**Please DO NOT use Blue Painters tape directly on your grilles, in some cases the tape will remove the finish.
