Estimator

We are seeking a full-time Estimator with the ability to manage client relationships while preparing accurate and timely project quotes. The Estimator will play a vital role in supporting our sales and estimating process by reviewing project drawings, interpreting specifications, and providing technical guidance on Architectural Grille products. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines will contribute to the success of both our clients and internal team

Key responsibilities include preparing quotes within a 24–48-hour timeframe, following up with clients on project and quote status, reviewing shop drawings for accuracy, and documenting quote activity in Salesforce. The role also involves reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings to identify product requirements for estimating purposes. Additional responsibilities may include visiting local clients, assisting with take-offs, supporting technical reviews, and contributing to other estimating and customer service projects as needed. Experience with estimating, shop drawings, and blueprint reading is required, while knowledge of AutoCAD, Salesforce, and sheet metal products is considered a plus.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare Quotes for clientele within a 24–48-hour timeframe.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical guidance on Architectural Grille products to clientele
• Follow up with clientele via phone on the quote and project status to help win the project.
• Review shop drawings being provided to clientele for accuracy.
• Visit local clientele when applicable.
• Track and document quote status in Salesforce
• Read and fully understand project drawings, and blueprints to locate where our product is called out for estimating purposes.
• Experience with Auto-cad a plus
• Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Estimating experience needed
• Ability to read shop drawings needed
• Ability to read blueprints and do take-offs a plus.
• Salesforce experience is a plus but not required.
• Sheet metal knowledge/experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to work with mathematical and structural concepts.
• Able to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
• Neat and organized.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve the intended objective.
