Description: Architectural Grille, a Division of Giumenta Corporation, located at 42 Second Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11215 is a family owned and operated manufacturing company that has been in business since 1945.

We are seeking a full time experienced Auto-CAD Drafter/Operator with the ability to provide assistance to our sales team and customers.


  • Produce accurate and timely reproductions
  • Take hand drawn plans and verbal descriptions and use Auto-CAD to create presentable and accurate landscape plans for clients
  • Experience with creating shop drawings to company standards
  • Knowledge of programming CNC machinery for metal fabrication. (This is a plus but not required)
  • Knowledge of Mastercam a plus
  • Communicate with team members ie: CNC operators and estimators on status and requirements for programming and drawings
  • Implement proper calculations needed to produce effective legends
  • Use drafting markers to color full copy landscape plans
  • Revise plans as requested
  • Learn and Implement standard sets for all drawings
  • Additional duties maybe assigned to meet business needs


  • Moderate skill level of CAD software & PC usage
  • Able to work with mathematical and structural concepts
  • Able to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form
  • Neat and organized
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
  • Ability to adapt to change

Pay Scale:  TBD

FLSA Status: None

Bonus Bucket: (depends on hourly pay)

Benefit Enrollment Package: 60 Days

Introductory Period / Evaluation: 90 Days

Accrue PTO: Immediate

Paid Holidays: 30 Days

Performance Review: 180 Days

    Paid Time Off (PTO):

    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of two years: 12 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of three years: 13 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of four years: 14 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of five years: 15 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of six thru nine years: 20 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of 10 years plus: 25 PTO’s
    • Bank up to 5 PTO’s per year

    After One Year:

    • Ability to contribute to the company 401(k) plan plus Safe Harbor Match of 100% of what you contribute, up to 4% of your salary
