Architectural Grille Featured Throughout House Beautiful’s Third Annual Whole Home Concept House 2020 in Colorado

ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE’s custom HVAC grilles and decorative metalwork feature prominently throughout House Beautiful’s 2020 Whole Home Concept House situated in Colorado’s Fox Hill, an eco-friendly, farm-to-table community with stunning Rocky Mountain views on the outskirts of Denver. This year’s Whole Home Concept House was built by Nicholas Custom Homes in partnership with Signature Kitchen Suite and Wellness Within Your Walls

House Beautiful

A design showcase unlike any other, the home features the work of 12 all-star designers, including Marie Flanigan, Sarah Robertson of Studio Dearborn, Me and General, Tiffany Brooks, and more. Each designer was tasked with creating a space in which every design element has a purpose and every room fosters wellness within the home. As a Whole Home Concept House sponsor, ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE’s role was to help make each designer’s vision a reality by partnering on custom metalwork, from HVAC grilles and drop ceiling panels to cabinetry components and decorative touches throughout each room.

“The Whole Home Concept House touches every pillar of the House Beautiful brand,” says Jo Saltz, House Beautiful Editorial Director. “Great design, quality craftsmanship, and brilliant functionality — built with a multigenerational family in mind.” Multigenerational living is a focus of this year’s home, which features spaces like a treehouse and a hangout room as well as a “we shed” and a boomer suite.

"It has been an honor to once again work on the Whole Home Concept House with House Beautiful,” says Stephen J. Giumenta, ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE, Co-Owner & Design Engineer. “Given the challenges we’ve all faced this year, it feels especially meaningful to come together as a design community and create something beautiful and sustainable.”

ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE contributed custom metalwork to several rooms in the home, including the kitchen, the play room, the tea room, the dining room, and the boomer suite, as well as custom HVAC grilles throughout the house. Particularly unique metalwork touches include the custom drip tray inserts for the bar and the custom perforated infills for the cabinets in the kitchen.

This is the third year in a row that House Beautiful has created a Whole Home Concept House, and it’s the third collaboration between ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE and House Beautiful to ensure that even the smallest details of the house are thoughtfully and skillfully executed.

Along with ARCHITECTURAL GRILLE and presenting partner Signature Kitchen Suite, the 2020 Whole Home Concept House is made possible by Caesarstone, Circa Lighting, Elkay, Grothouse, Marvin, New Moon, Phillip Jeffries, Porsche, Stearns & Foster, The Container Store, Thompson Traders, Thibaut, Trane, Wellness Within Your Walls, and Woodard.

The full reveal of the 2020 House Beautiful Whole Home Concept House is featured in the November issue of House Beautiful, and consumer tours begin on October 17, 2020. Proceeds of each tour will benefit SECOR Cares, a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to serving those struggling with food insecurity.
