Description: Architectural Grille, a Division of Giumenta Corporation, located at 42 Second Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11215 is a family owned and operated manufacturing company that has been in business since 1945.

We are seeking a person to act as a runner that will help maintain workflow on the shop floor in a timely manner. They will work alongside the shipping department in order to facilitate factory production.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist production manager
  • Assist other departments when necessary particularly, Shipping and Finishing.
  • Assist in the management of workflow on the shop floor

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Product Knowledge in metal fabrication
  • Understand blueprints and specifications
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Time Management
  • Neat and organized
  • Must follow OSHA safety rules and procedures
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Ability to work with power tools such as, Table Saw, Staple Gun, Nail Gun etc.
  • 2 Years of experience preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Manual dexterity to handle parts / items
  • May have to carry heavy items
  • Must be able to see markings on metal at close range to ensure quality control
  • Must be able to navigate the factory floor multiple times per shift
  • Must be adaptable and willing to cross train

Pay Scale:  TBD

Bonus Bucket: (depends on hourly pay)

Benefit Enrollment Package: 30 Days

Introductory Period / Evaluation: 90 Days

Accrue PTO: Immediate

Paid Holidays: 30 Days

Performance Review: 180 Days

    Paid Time Off (PTO):

    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of six (6) months: 10 PTO's
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of two (2) years: 12 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of three (3) years: 13 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of four (4) years: 14 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of five (5) years: 15 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of six (6) thru nine (9) years: 20 PTO’s
    • Beginning 1/1 after completion of ten (10) years plus: 25 PTO’s
    • Bank up to 5 PTO’s per year

    After One Year:

    • Ability to contribute to the company 401(k) plan
